Contacts keep expanding

I used Outlook through an Exchange Servcer. I view my contacts by
categories. This shows them one contact per row when expanded and one row
for an entire category when collapsed. I have over 2000 contacts so I like
to have it open up with all categories collapsed so I can navigate easier.
More than half of the time when I go to contacts, it shows all of the
categories expanded, even though when I leave contacts I collapse all of the
categories. I can collapse them by going to the View drop down menu and
selecting collapse all groups, but it is annoying. Is there a way to make
Contacts open every time with the categories collapsed?

View -> Current View -> Customize Current View -> Group By

Now look at the bottom right corner where it says Expand/Collapse
Defaults and choose "Always Collapsed".

Let me know if this does not solve your problem.

I think that fixed it. I did not know where this selection was, so thank you
for helping.
