NAT server

M

Marc Reynolds [MSFT]

Are the internal clients configured to use the NAT server as their default
gateway?
Can they ping the internal IP of the NAT server?
What happens when they try to connect to the Internet? can they resolve
Internet names? can they access anything on the Internet by IP address?

Yes, the internal clients have the NAT server as the
default gateway.
The clients cannot access the Internet by IP, (and hence
can't connect to the DNS server)
