Hi
Does anybody know the full name of the most popular word news group?

First of all, you mean "Outlook Express," not "Outlook." Outlook
doesn't do newsgroups.

When you look at the list of newsgroups, go to the bar over the
newsgroup names, the one that identifies the columns. There will
be a vertical bar between "Newsgroup" and Description." Grab that
bar with the mouse and drag it to the right to let you see the
full names.

By the way, that ability to resize columns by dragging the
divider works in *many* programs. For example, My Computer and
Windows Explorer work the same way.

New glasses?

Oh thanks I'll try that out!

That depends on your problem in particular. You may want to start here:

Your newsreader is "Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2527".

Does that mean that I can't ever see the full wording?

Although I don't use "Outlook Express", it's no problem to see the
full wording in the OE newsgroup list when you follow Ken Blake's
advice (move the divider bar accordingly).

This works for most Windows programs.

Click and Drag a header divider to change the width of a column.

Double click a header divider to open a column to the width needed to view
the longest entry.

You have to drag it back to get it to be narrow again.
