n00b - open ports

my parents wont elt my unhook my firewall and it isnt making my interenet use very enjoyable.. my firse wall is an external hub (SONICWALL)... and onwe other thing... how do you open ports... to make file transfers quicker

Perhaps you should ask your parents to help you...You wont find anyone here
that will help you usurp parental authority.

In addition to the other post, with which I agree, what makes you think this
would make your file transfers faster?
