N-Case

Hi..Im a newbee to this stuff...I just use the thing to surf and play on...Here's my question..I get a message saying that N-Case has been removed by a third party and may cause some programs not to run properly...It then asks if I want to reinstall it...I dont know what N-Case is...Should I reinstall it?...Does this have something to do with a virus?...Also, when I click on "Properties" on the "My Computer" tab, the properties window flashes open, but doesnt stay open...Any ideas on that one?...Is that a result of a virus?...I dont have an anti-virus program now, but am in the process of downloading one...Thanks for any help...
