#N/A error matching time values

ok ill try

timevalues in A2:A20 timevalue in B2:B20
A2 and A3 is put in manual all values is put in manual
then rest is fill/copy down
A2=00:02 B2=00:02
A3=00:03 B3=00:03
and so on
then formatted as numbers with 19 decimals

as u can c they r not equal all the vay down?

Im afraid I cannot replicate your problem, when I try it the numbers
all match?

When you are putting in as timevalues, which format?, is it singular H
with square brackets? ([h]:mm:ss)

when i start all cells is formatted as standard
then i put directly 00:02 ENTER
and Excell format this as hh:mm

did u try put in manualy all times in 1 column and
in the other column use fill/copy handle ?

Yep,

used the fill/copy handle and have tried various ways of formatting to
replicate your error to no avail....

confusing....!

Try using the format I suggested above (bracketed single H) and let me
know if you still get this problem

I already reply to this post on other forum...
You should use ROUND function to round both values of dates and everything
will work...
Problem is because excel uses floating point for date/time

excel uses 10 decimals for time/date but, as I've used this, when using
ROUND function I'm rounding to 5 decimals and everything is OK.
It's, I belive, best way,.... Much better than use something you found on
Microsoft KB article..
