Mystery Characters and Words Appearing!

OK, this is frustrating. Characters and words appear at
random times when I'm not touching the keyboard. It
appears in all windows, including a dos prompt. The
words are usually 'the' and 'year' and neither is in the
paste buffer. Speech recognition is off the the the <-
There is goes again! Any suggestions?
 
Try a different keyboard.
