Mysterious .mpg files...

This is embarrassing, but somehow, at some time, I've downloaded 4 files that
are supposedly .mpg...don't want them on my computer, but there seems to be
no way to delete them! Right clicking only gets you the "Open", "Open With",
etc., and any attempt to delete does nothing. McAffee shredder says that the
file type does not exist! Can't rename them, either. Properties only shows 1
page and has no changable area...HELP!
 
Went into Admin, both Safe and Normal...right clicking only opens a baloon
that says "Play", Add To Now Playing List", etc...no properties. When I go to
File/Properties, it displays a single tab ...General...Name = blank...size =
0 bytes...size on disk = 0 bytes...Attributes = NONE CHECKED. I'm stumped!
