Try removing spaces from all file names, they will appear as %20. You're on a *nix/apache box, best not to use spaces or capitalization in file names.

Also make sure your images are Imported into FP folder first before placing them in your FP web design.

After you've renamed your image files without the spaces, do a Recalculate Hyperlinks then re-Publish.

I am running FP-2000. All .jpg graphics in a client's web residing on my HD
have mysteriously developed an "error" tab when any graphic's name in the
Folders List is right-clicked, and "properties" is selected. The error
message on all is as follows:

(1) Cannot create file "C:\WEBROOT\KORO\_vti_pvt\doctodep.btr".(Permission
denied)

No such request to create such a file has been made. All graphics have
been edited and sized in Photoshop 7.0 then saved to the Web on the HD for
later publication.

The web in question is for a Photographer client, and displays samples of
his work. All images have been sized to app 432 pixels High x 500W. These
are then put into a table cell, and the "Auto Thumbnail" command is used to
reduce size. (refer www.henrykoro.com).

Despite the "error" Property, they display correctly for the most part, and
the larger image will pop up when the thumbnail is clicked on-with a couple
of maddening exceptions. On the Internet, when clicked on, these latter
display a standard error message merely saying the page cannot be found,
etc.

However, the same link failure in Front Page gives this error message:

"Could not load file:
"///C:/WEBROOT/KORO/singer.jpg"

Note this refers to a hierarchal Web Folder some steps up (WEBROOT is the
Root Folder where copies of client's Webs are stored) which simply does not
exist.

No other webs in this Root Folder are affected.

Have tried everything to discover the problem's source without success. Any
suggestions or solutions out there? Thanks for looking.
