mysterious fonts

Occasionally I notice new fonts installed and old ones deleted. I trust
automatic Microsoft updates, but I don't want font changes without my
approval. I use Windows XP sp3 and WordPerfect 12.

AFAIK, Microsoft and Windows Updates don't automatically install new fonts.
You would need to give us the names of your new fonts (and the old ones
that you believe were deleted) to get further help. Possibly your Word
Perfect has an automatic update feature or some other program you have
installed has an automatic update feature involving fonts.

Hmm. I don't think Microsoft has ever included a font in its updates....
