Despite having mcafee on my system,whenever I sync my pda using activsync I
get an antivirus alert saying w32/mydooma@mm has been found in
C:\DOCUME~1\ERICSM~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\_PegTr680\pf4.tmp, though the last bit
keeps changing. It says i should delete it manually but when i do it just
comes back! I keep the dat files up to date. HELP!

Are you on ME, 2000, or XP, if so, you must turn off the system restore,
then delete the file, then turn restore back on.

May be wrong, but I believe only ME and XP have the system restore feature.

Funny, as soon as one hits this post, an update for "?" comes up...Beware for
what it's worth..

Tried your suggestion.Worked for a couple of days then virus alert messages
came back!

Any suggestions?
