Mydoom A

I received an email with mydoom A. The zip files were
blocked by my norton virus scanner.But now whenever I
checked email using MS Outlook, Norton will pop up a
message saying that "the virus was detected and file were
removed", this popup appears everytime I receive email.
Is my PC really infected? What can I do to stop it ? I
tried to follow the instruction posted on the Norton
webpage, but problem still exists. Please advise.

Have you deleted all email messages that contain the virus?

I have deleted all email messages and scan the pc that no
virus is detected.
But still shows a popup message when collecting email.
