my word documents close without warning

When I click on the taskbar to change between word 2003 documents, the entire
program closes without warning. This only happens when I open more than one
word document at a time. I have repeatedly reinstalled office 2003 and this
has not fixed my problem. There is no error recorded on my computers log as
well. When the program is reopened, the files are recovered. Another thing is
that i cant see my pictures/clipart in the word documents if i scroll up or
down. Is this a general fault with my PC or with the program in general? I
really need this mystery to be solved!!
 
I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Word.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
