My Windows ME client is being obstinant

I have attached a Windows ME client to my Windows 2000 domain. This is only
one of many clients but is the only Legacy operating system used. Anyway I
just cannot get it to appear in Active Directory Users and Computers. It
appers in My Network Places | Entire Network | Microsoft Windows Network |
DomainName but not in Active Directory Users and Computers.

One thing I noticed when attaching the Windows ME cvlient to the domain is
that not only did I have to assign a domain it was going to use but also a
Workgroup. That is unusual. I put in the name of the domain itself here
because without a Workgroup name the dialog box where we assign the domain
was not allowing nothing there for Workgroup name.

I don't think this setup was right but what else can I do? Any suggestions
on what may be wrong here and provide a solution? Thanks.

It doesn't belong there. ONLY NT-class machines get computer
accounts.

ME is a form or 9x, and as such cannot reall "join" a domain --
however, it can 'associate' with the domain to authenticate it's
users.
