My Visual C# doesn't have crystal reports - how come?

I bought the standard version of Visual C# last year and I
am starting to work with it.

The book I am using says it should have crystal reports in
it but when I go to add a new item there is no crystal
reports template in the add new item gizmo. Did I install
it improperly or do I have a stripped down version?

How can I make reports? I read somewhere about using the
GDI. Is that feasible? I don't want to shell out bigbucks
if I don't have to.

I don't think the Standard version includes CR. In fact I don't think any of
the standalone language versions include it, you only get it if you get the
whole VS.NET. There's the comparison page:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vcsharp/howtobuy/choosing.aspx but it doesn't go
into much detail.
