Can I delete the Vista partition I created to have Vista deleted?

And will my multiboot at start-up go back to the original single boot option
for Windows XP?

Your educated reply is greatly appreciated.

Although I'm not quite sure about what you are actually asking, please
understand that once you install Windows Vista, you cannot rollback to the
previous Windows version. You must have the Windows XP CD to reinstall the OS.

I created a seperate partition named VISTA (V:). I installed Vista onto this
partition. I still have Windows XP installed on C:

If I delete the VISTA partition, will it be completely uninstalled, and also
will the multiboot menu at startup be gone? And display the ordinary windows
XP boot-up menu?

(The multiboot is the menu which asks if I want to boot 'Microsoft Windows'
which is Vista, or 'Earlier version of Windows' which is XP)
