Hi,
I turn on my computer this morning and Windows 2000 will
not load with a message User Profile corrupted. After
rebooting, it came up but with a different deskstop. Many
of my programs where there but some were missing. My
internet access was gone and so was my e-mail. Did a check
disk, defrag, virus scan, etc. Found most missing
programs under Documents & Setting. Actually had a couple
of folders with the same name but different settings. Got
my computer almost back to normal. But my email address
book and save email are gone. I am using my PDA to
sincronize with outlook and get my address books to normal
but it does not happen. My PDA sincronize with my PC, it
transmit all the data to my PC and confirms it sended to
outlook but outlook does not have it. I opens both,
Outlook and Outlook Express but there are not there.
Where did it go I do not know and cannot find it. Did it
go to the old User Profile? I cannot get to this profile
again. Right now I am under all users. My original User,
Luis Verdejo is under document and setting but cannot load
it. There is another user that I created, with two
folders. One of them ends with the .bak extension. Does
anyone has an idea how to solve this problem?
