My Text Jumps

When I try to paste into a particular space on the page it jumps to the
following one. I have tried writing a bit then pasting and just pasting. It
always jumps. I cannot see a page break etc please help

Have you looked at your paragraph settings?

No these are both Single and 0pt.

Space after, space before settings?

Turn on your non-printing characters and see what shows up. Also check your
page margins.

The morning always brings new perspective. The paragraph had been set up
'keep with next'. I just couldn't see the wood...!
Thanks for your help.
