My shortcut bar disappeared since yesterday. How to get it back?

Which 'shortcut' bar in which Word version?

I had created a shortcut bar in Word 2003.

Does it appear in the view > toolbars list?
Is it selected?
If it does not appear then you have either managed to overwrite the normal
template that contained it, or you have not saved the normal template since
creating it. One reason why the normal template fails to save is the
installation of an early version of Acrobat 7's add-in - see
