My scroll wheel, scrolls right to left, not up and down?

For some strange reason this one spread sheet I open, my scroll wheel
pans right and left, instead of up and down (like it does in all other
excel files on my computer). But more strange when someone else
opens that same file on a different computer, it scrolls up and
down. Any ideas? thanks.
