My Scanner thinks its locked

My Visioneer 4800 USB scanner keeps giving an error
message "Please verify you have unlocked the scanner"
I have checked the Visioneer website and according to
that the Visioneer 4800 USB Scanner DOES NOT HAVE A LOCK

Can anybody help me PLEASE?

According to Visioneer, you need to turn the scanner upside down and unlck
it.

Answered last week:

I've not seen a scanner that does not have a shipping lock somewhere
on the bottom. Usually a recessed plastic slider.

You are WRONG. It has a lock.

It does no good at all to ask for help, ignore the replies you get, then
ask again a week later. Pay attention! Follow the advice and link Glen
gave you! It's right there on that webpage with pictures a 6 year old
could follow.

YOUR SCANNER HAS A LOCK! IT'S ON THE BOTTOM! FIND THE DANG THING AND
UNLOCK IT!!!
