my router info..isp dictated?

Dave C.

looking at the connection tab in msn messenger. It says I
am connected to the internet through a non upnp ip
restricted nat.

Is this dictated by my dsl provider? Also is this the
reason for all my audio problems with this program?

Greetings Dave,

It may well be either your DSL provider or the modem they've provided you. Who is your DSL
provider?

But yes, if you're using a NAT which does not support UPnP (which is what Messenger is
indicating), voice functionality will not work.
