we already have "My Recent Documents" function. but we do not have "My
Recent Folders". i also need to reach again to some folders which are
recently reached without filling my desktop with shortcuts -and being
have to clean them periodically. a function like the one for documents.

therefore, how can we get a "My Recent Folders" function?

There is no facility as such for this but if you look in your Recent
folder, it should show what folders have been visited. The link should
be as follows:

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Recent

For USERNAME insert your own.

Are you saying that the Start menu does not have My Recent Documents.

no.

i'm saying that it definitely has "My Recent Documents". but i also
want "My Recent Folders". MRF will work just as MRD but for folders in
stead of documents.

interesting...

Mr Chen shoud, i think, first take this:

"If you knew as much as you think you know,You would realize that you
don't know what you thought you knew!"
George Ankner

i learned that quotation from the google groups somewhere else. Mr.
Chen should learn that human computer interaction is a
multidisciplinary field, especially deriving from social sciences. i
really am shocked. how can a person working for a giant corporation
like Microsoft can speak in a that kind of manner???? a person with
such responsibilites like his. a person in a position like his. i think
responsibilites are so weak compared with Mr. Bill Gates's
expectations.

in my opinion, and just as many people's, every single human is uniqe
and that human's needs and thoughts can not be assessed in such a
positivistic manner: "stupid". i think it is necessary. and my thought
is enough to make it a legitimate need.

ridiculous is that i think noone tells him he should take care of his
attitudes. noone tells him he should be aware of values.

shame on him.

shame on Microsoft employing that discourse: "that need is stupid"...

regards.
