My problems with Itunes for 64 VISTA

R

Ritter197

I have I tunes on both the laptop with WindowsXP and on the
newly acquired Desktop, HP Q 8200 with Vista 64.

For the latter I have downloaded the latest recommended
version for Vista64, but even though I can see the imported
and saved ( on an external hard drive) play list I can not
play them. When I click on them on this new Vista 64
empowered Desktop, nothing happens. When I click on
Beethoven folder ( which contains many creations by
composer) I can see nothing in the right panel regarding
the overture, for example.

On the laptop I have exactly the same play list and all
works fine there.

Audio is OK, because when I go to the I-tunes store with
the desktop, I can listen to the songs.

Any solutions????

Hi, Ritter.

Please follow the advice you were given on the OTHER newsgroup where you
posted this question: Contact Apple for support of their software on Vista.

And PLEASE learn to Crosspost! On the RARE occasions when you MUST post the
same message to more than a single newsgroup, just put the names of all
those newsgroups into the address box of ONE message. Then it will show up
in all of them, but the responses will form a single coherent thread. The
benefit for me: Your post will be marked "Read" - for me - in each of the
groups and I won't have to re-read it several times. The payoff for you:
You won't have to check each NG for replies since they all will show up, no
matter which one you check.
