Sorry if this is a bit of a basic question...

I've just noticed that my 'My Picures' folder has taken on image of a jpeg
file kept in an entireley different folder (in a subfolder in shared
documents). The basic help files tell me that appearance of the 'My Picures'
folder cannot be changed... so how has this happened, and how can I change it
back?

Cheers.

Hi Michelle,

Try this fix:
Increase Folder View Options Limit: (Line 2):
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Don't worry about the title. This fix resets all the folder view settings
and also increases the cache to 8000.

Cheers Ramesh,

I downloaded the link and installed it, but nothing seemed to happen (even
after refresh etc). I imagine there's something else I should be doing (not
an expert user). Problem fixed by just moving the contents to a new folder,
then moving them back - don't know if this is because of your help or just
what I should have done in the first place. Regardless, it's fixed so I'm
happy.

Cheers again.

Well. It may be the desktop.ini file then.
