My Pc's Need 4 Speed

I'm running Win Xp. When I start computer everything is running good and
fast , but after 30-45min i starts to slows down rapidly. web pages take
forever to load,opening a new program takes up to 1 min,and logging off takes
up 2mins. what can i do to speed up my pc. I run checks 4 spyware,viruses
frequently. i also clean the registry also. please help.

have you looked to see if there is a process using alot of CPU time ?

i'm using Bearshare could that be the problem? What should I check on my
computer fan?
