my outlook send/receive won't 'stop' and not working

My hotmail is linked to outlook - through msn it's working fine, but outlook
won't isn't appearing to be working - it's constantly on "send/receive status
50%" and if I press 'send/receive' it freezes at "0%". I've turned off and
on and left it a day, but no change.

Please help!!

Which version of Outlook? Are you using the Outlook Connector? Do you have a
paid MSN subscription?

Sorry - not too good at computers!
MS Office Outlook 2003 SP1, don't know if I'm using connector, a friend set
it up for me - how do I find out?! Don't have a subscription to MSN, but to
hotmail. Does this help?!

You'll see an Outlook Connector menu if you are using the Outlook Connector.
Is that a paid Hotmail account you are using? They seem to be stopping all
access to non-paid Hotmail accounts.
