My outlook keeps stopping and restarting every few seconds.

I downloaded all of the updates that are supposed to make outlook work with
Vista. In addition to stopping and restarting every few seconds, I get a
message every few minutes that refers to a 'fatal error'; then the
recipient's address and subject lines go blank.
 
Is there a question involved here? If you need help sorting out your issue,
post your configuration information and just ask.
 
Version of Outlook? Did you check the Event viewer for possible causes?
