My Outlook is going berserk

Help! About four hours ago I tried to send a message with a large
attachement. I don't want to know about file size and that stuff, but how do
I kill an outbound message that is spinning its wheels in my outbox?

This has been going on for hours and won't stop. I've restarted, shut down,
and tried everything that I can but it keeps going and won't send.

How do I kill that message and get back to normal? It is also driving my
CPUs up the wall too.

Help

It won't let me delete. I can't do anything with it. The little icon in the
lower right hand corner just keeps turning and turning -- as I said this has
been going on for over five hours and it won't stop despite my requent
restarts and shut downs.

No, it won't let me drag it to Archives. I get an error message that says
that that is impossible to do. So I don't know how you did it.

The whole situation is just supernatural. Because it affects my whole
system. I try an action like deleting and then I can't close the program -- I
get error messages that say "Program is not responding," etc. Then my CPUs
start whirring away and it makes it sound like my tower is going to explode.
I swear. I have never experienced anything like this. Usually you can solve
problems or can come to a board like this and get it fixed. But this has been
going on since early this am and most of the day is gone.

Will this go on forever?
