My outlook closes when i minimize it, how do I avoid this?

I want my outlook to minimize to the the taskbar, but it closes every time i
hit the minimize. Help!
 
is it closing or minimizing to the tray?

What version of outlook? if you right click on the outlook icon in the tray,
is it check to minimize to tray?
