I am operating Outlook 2007 on Vista and have Norton Internet Security 07.
I have set up the email and it can send emails fine. However, it cannot
recieve them.
I have assumed this is a Firewall problem but when I disable the firewall to
check my theory, it still does not receive emails. Can anyone help?

You have checked that your POP server (or whatever - you failed to tell us
this vital piece of information) is set up correctly? Have you used the
"Test Account Settings function?

We have outlook at the office i work in, and it has always work effieciently and properly, then our harddrive crashed. The computer was restored, and all of our settings were the same as every other user in the building. I can send emails just fine through outlook 2007 but i cannot recieve anything in outlook, all of our ports and input outputs are correct and match with the server. Does anyone know anything else I can do to be able to receive emails instead of logging into the server to view them, because this is getting really frusterating!! please help!

Thanks!!
