My New Stationery Not Showing

Using Office 2003 & X
I saved a word document containing a logo as a HTM document, which I want to use as the default for my email.
When I select it with Stationery Picker it shows as a placeholder (red x). What have I done wrong??
 
Make sure the path to the pictures are correct. The easiest way to make sure
they are correct is to create the stationery in the stationery folder and
place all the pictures in a subfolder of the stationery folder.
