Three computers networked together. After booting all three, I am able to
click on the My Networking Icon ( on any of the machines ) and see the three
computers listed. If I close the box, and return to the windows screen, I am
not able to click on the My Network Icon again, and reopen. All I get is the
hour glass for a few seconds, and disappears with no action taken. This
behavior is consistent with all three computers, and will not work again
until I re-boot. Using XPsp2. Any ideas ? Microsoft and Linksys were of no
help.

Donald,

This sounds like a browser problem. One of the most common causes of a browser
problem would be a misconfigured or overlooked personal firewall, or other
security component. There are several other possibilities too, and any might be
the cause of your problem. Read this article with an open mind.

If you wish, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer,
so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and
follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):

Please let us know if any of these suggestions are of any help. What you learn
may help others in the future, and that's the purpose of these forums.
