Hi,
Right click the icon and delete OR
Got to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\NetHood and delete the icon.
This is the location where XP keeps all the shortcuts in "My Network
Places"
OR
The solution involves editing the registry. Please read Microsoft's
warning BEFORE using regedit.
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
Method 1:

Clear all History and Temporary Internet Files
Method 2: ( Registry editing)
========
1. Start -> Run
2. In the Run dialog box type "Regedit" and press enter key
3. Navigate to this key and see if your offending item is there in the list
of sub-keys. If so, then remove it.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
4. Exit Regedit and reboot
