My Music folder problem

P

Pete

When trying to run iTunes under my son's XP Home user account, I get a
message that the 'The iTunes
Music Library file cannot be found or created. The default location for this
file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "Music" folder.' The other three users
have no problem running iTunes.

I had previously set up out My Music folder within My Documents on my
network server. This hasn't been a problem previously. One thing I noticed
on my son's account is that I cannot get the My Music folder to appear in
the start menu, even after playing with the start menu advanced properties,
turning it off, displaying as a link, and displaying as a menu. No problem
with the other users.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Pete

Try changing or verifying the location with TweakUI.

Hmmm..... My Music doesn't appear as a Special Folder for this user. It does
for the other users.

Well, that's probably the problem, but that is beyond my expertise.
