my music and media player

I cjhanged my computer and I can no longer just click "play all" in my music
and have it play. Must I always go directly to media player and fiddle in
there?

Start>Help and Support>in the Search window type Play All and
click the arrow. Now click "Play music stored on your computer".

Thanks for the suggestion but what you say is exactly what I used to do.
Clicking play all just goes "boop" and no music.
