The Seagate has a 5-Degree higher Thermal operating spec. It uses the
newer perpendicular data orientation and has a larger on-board cache of
8-Megabytes.
The Seagate is also SATA 300 compliant and has NCQ ( Native Command
Queuing ) where your original drive was SATA-150.
Couple all that with the higher spindle speed and it should be noticeably
faster. My only concern is Toshiba notebooks can be very hot and do not
have adequate cooling for drives. If you get this drive you'll want to usea
real-time thermal monitoring tool such as SpeedFan 4.32 to keep an eye
on the temps inside the notebook.

the difference is that its 160 gb,7200rpm,SATA-3000 and without g-
shock protection
Can anyone guide me is there will be any incompatibility for my newer
