My Laptop doesn't wake up from a closed shell/sleep mode

I have an HP Pavillion dv6000z - brand new out of the box from HP
direct, less than a week old. From day 1 it has had issues waking up
from a sleep mode after I have closed the shell. I have been in
online chats with HP and have had a couple conversations on the phone
and nothing seems to be working. I have reset my BIOS, downloaded
some patches, tweaked the amount of time allowed before "Sleep"
occurs...and I'm still having this issue.

Anyone know of the correct fix for this one?

Lots of people are having problems with Hibernate or Sleep, with all sorts
of differemt hardware - me included. Hopefully SP1 will sort it out, or
maybe you could try the latest BIOS version for your laptop.
