My KeyPad doesnt work

Hi, sorry to write the whole problem in a straight line...the "enter/ or return" key of the keypad doesnt work. i hv windows XP, proffesional laptop. whenever i restart my laptop, it works for some time about 15 to 30 minutes and then it just stops working. i dont know if its a hardware problem or due to some software problem. i hv to restart my laptop every 30 minutes and it bites. especialy when sending email to some one, it stops working and then its realy hard to formatt the text.. can ne one help me regarding this please? i will be very grateful... thanks...

You should run a virus checker to see if it finds anything that might be
messing with your system.
