My inbox items keep getting deleted

Outlook 2003 here. When I initially set up my email account on a specific
computer at work I accidently clicked yes on something to the effect of auto
archiving items. So every new day that I open my email, all of the previous
emails are gone. However, when I check, it says auto archiving is NOT on and
I have NO filters on either. How do I get back my old messages? There are not
even any pst files available.

All of my sent items are there, but all of my inbox items are not.

Have you tried the View settings? View-Current View - Messages?

In other words it's set to "Messages" and NOT to "Unread Messages"?
