My Icons

After installing a new program, all the icons on my desktop went to the
default icon (the icon that files without an associated program have). I
manually chaged back all of them to their original icons, however, the Show
Desktop icon in my Quicklaunch has not changed back even after several
attempts of taking it out and putting it back into the Quicklaunch. How can I
make the icon show up?

The XP TweakUI powertoy has a rebuild icons feature, may be worth a try,
besides it's a nice little app to have in your tool box..
