My Google Pop-Up Blocker Doesn't Work!?

Hi, I'm reading all over the web that Google's pop-up blocker seems to
work fine for most everyone who uses it. But it does NOT for me -
(popups simply continue to occur, "0 blocked" since installed)... I
was wondering if anyone knows what I might be doing wrong or if there
are options I need to adjust?

Go to the dropdown menu on the left side of the searchbox goto Help >
Help > Pop-up Blocker. There's a bunch of stuff about it there.

Click on it to turn it on...
