Hello
My friend has a pc with xp home installed. He was running without a virus
checker so we installed AVG which brought up that he had a viral infection.
We ran the program and it said it had cleared the infection.
He then went on holiday for three weeks. When he switched on his machine avg
wasn't visible in the status bar. So he pressed the programs button and
pressed the program link to start it. It appeared in a box then vanished. It
wouldn't appear !!
He asked me and i tried to start task manager to see if it was running but
task manager appeared then instantly vanished then closed.
It souds to me like there is a viral infection stopping access to both the
ant virus program and task manager.
Anybody can help us sort this problem out
