My formula in Excel 2002 reads: =12.08*85.60 result 1034.048

Does anyone know of a patch, bug, options setting for Excel 2002 that will
correct this?
 
Why is it a bug? Try this one: =0.08*0.6
What do you expect it to return? If you're looking for currency, perhaps you
want:
=round(12.08*85.60,2)
