My font is frozen on Arial

I love the MS Arial font, but I can't change it to anything else. I select
it, hit the dropdown arrow, select a different font, and my text remains in
Arial. I even went so far as to re-install Word; to no avail.

Never mind. I found my problem. I had my Draft font checked in Tools,
Options, View.
Thanks, anyway.
