My Fax View will not open or display TIFF Files

My Fax Viewer will not open or display TIFF Files. In this case, they will
not open pictures sent from a Xerox work station. Does anyone have an answer?
 
Perhaps the Xerox is not providing a compatible tif file. There are
numerous tif formats. Try setting "300 dpi B&W G4 compression". Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer will open those.
