Hey Doc,
Ah. My first plonk with Thunderbird.
You don't have anything useful to say anyway.
Consider yourself plonked.
What's that noise? Oh ya. Ploink!!!
Hitting the toilet.

The really funny thing is, Doc got the wrong guy in the first place.

Deserves two plonks.

Thanks for the follow up BillT, otherwise I would never have seen
dsLADY'reply, been in my scorefile for ... ever, almost. Another Linux
fanatic.

I didn't plonk him anyway. I just like the sound.

I had a look at Thinderbird, as I like to further the cause of open
source software. It turned out to be memory hog like no other software
on my pc, using a whopping 40 Mb. So I quickly uninstalled it again.
I prefer separate programmes for usenet, e-mail and rss anyway.

T-Bird is a real work in progress. The humongous download size and memory
footprint are disappointing. T-Bird is probably the world's largest E-Mail
program.

I would like to see the FoxMail developers add Usenet support. The UI is
very nice (ver. 6 is just yummy), and the program is very competent.
