my emails get stuck in outbox and won't send

My emails get stuck in my outbox and won't send. This just developed and I
don't know what started it. Things were fine until recently. Comcast says
this is not their problem. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

What is the size(s) reported for the items in the Size column of the
Outbox folder? If one of them exceeds the quota for max size of an
e-mail item, your e-mail provider will reject that e-mail. Because the
mail session gets rejected, the other pending items in the Outbox may
also not get sent.

Comcast's maximum-size-per-email quota is 15MB.
