Took me a long time and many times deleting My eBooks folder. ;-)
My eBooks folder is created by Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Go to >>
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\Plug_ins
and move the eBook.api file up into the Optional folder.
Or delete the damn thing like I did.
Now delete the My eBooks folder in My Documents and it won't be recreated
again.
Thanks Wesley, and Newtechie.
The location was a bit different on my computer. Perhaps 'cause I have Adobe
Acrobat Pro.
Here is where the file is if you have the complete program:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat 6.0 CE\Acrobat\plug_ins
But it was there and your suggestion helps. For now I changed the extension
and made it {eBook.api - change} so it lost its icon.
But before I did what you suggested I did what Newtechie suggested. Since
then I have not rebooted and don't know which one is doing the magic. Most
likely both are only differently.
I just want that darn folder never to reappear.
