My Documents Shutdown?

Don

I'd like to stop/disable/shut down the listing of recent documents accessed.
I already have an option through TweakNow PowerPack, but they only hide the
documents. The list is still added to with every document accessed. How can
I STOP windows from adding documents to the list of recent documents?

If you are using XP Pro then use the Group Ploicy method.

Good Luck, Ayush.

Right click on the Start button, choose Properties. On the Start Menu tab,
havew the Start Menu radio button checked, then click Customise.
Clixk the Advanced tab and at the bottom of that screen clear the List my
most recent opened documents.

Disable Recent Documents History
http://www.pctools.com/guides/registry/detail/545/

Keep in mind that this will also disable the document history
feature in programs such as Word and Excel.

For more info,

Good luck
